And with the bug finally painted, we moved onto assembly and shit got real.. =D
Due to personal circumstances, I had to make the tough decision to relocate back to Sweden and so we suddenly had a very unforgiving deadline to finish the bug and get it out of my house (which we had already sold). Ryan had done a cracking job sourcing all the bits that were missing from the bug when he bought it and assembly went like on rails. I guess the electrics took the longest as we had quite a few non-standard bits that we wanted the bug to have.
Within the course of a few weeks, we’d fitted all the panels, interior, wired it, put the glass in, etc, etc..
